No King But Christ Poster, Christian Wall Art, Gadsden Flag Design
One of the principles the United States embraced after independence was that no earthly ruler should possess absolute authority, but Believers know that we have a heavenly King. Lord Acton once quipped in a letter to Bishop Mandell Creighton, “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” In that same letter, Acton also stated, “There is no worse heresy than that the office sanctifies the holder of it.”
The design combines two historical symbols to express our tagline, “Obey God. Defy Tyranny.” The Gadsden flag emerged from the American Revolution as a symbol of resistance to British authority and a warning against arbitrary power, while the Jerusalem Cross points to who our true King is. As the Apostles stated in Acts 5:29, “We must obey God rather than men.”

If the poster does gather any dust, you may wipe it off gently with a clean, dry cloth. To remove spots or smudges from acrylic or glass, we recommend applying glass cleaner to a clean, soft, dry cloth or paper towel and then to the surface so that the cleaner does not settle on the frame, then buff the surface dry to remove any streaks..
