Puppet Master Car Magnet

Identity politics have divided the country, and even the Church. Both political parties have learned that Christians are a powerful voting bloc, and Christians have allowed their political identity to become intertwined with their faith. Former Soviet intelligence officer Yuri Bezmenov described those who were useful to revolutionary movements as “useful idiots”—people who could be used to advance a cause before becoming expendable. The lesson extends beyond one political ideology: political movements will use people who serve their purposes. As Christians, our identity should not be defined by a political party. Our allegiance belongs to Christ.

Stand apart. Think deeper. Fear God, not government.
